Granite & marble

Natural stone. A character of its own.

Movement, colour and variation make each slab worth considering as a whole. Choose the stone and the details together.

Consider the whole space

Granite, considered in context.

Explore a granite slab alongside the room’s other finishes. The overall colour is only part of the choice; scale, movement and visible details influence the final effect.

  • View the actual slab where possible
  • Look at the pattern across the full piece
  • Discuss the edges, openings and transitions

A few useful details

Choose with the full picture in mind.

Marble, chosen with intention.

Marble can bring expressive veining to a vanity, fireplace or other interior surface. Choose with everyday care in mind: acidic spills can mark the stone.

  • Choose for the intended setting
  • Discuss everyday use and acceptable patina
  • Follow care guidance for the selected stone

Give the pattern a place.

For an island, wall panel or fireplace, the stone’s movement becomes part of the composition. Discuss the visible areas and important transitions before fabrication.

  • Identify the most visible faces
  • Review the proposed layout and joint locations
  • Discuss how edges and returns will read together

Start with your room, not a generic material rule.

Tell us how the surface will be used and what you want it to feel like. We can discuss the selected stone’s suitability, available options and the details your project needs.

  • Photos of the space
  • Preferred colours and inspiration
  • Dimensions or a rough sketch
  • Questions about care and finish

A little clarity

Questions, answered.

Useful details before you take the next step.

Ask the team
Will every slab of the same stone look alike?

Natural variation is part of the selection. Review the actual material and discuss the pattern you want to emphasize before confirming fabrication.

Can I use marble in a kitchen?

The answer depends on the selected stone, intended use and your expectations for care and change over time. Discuss these points before deciding; marble should not be presented as maintenance-free.

Can you help plan a fireplace surface?

Yes. Share photographs or drawings of the fireplace and the proposed stone areas. The material, supporting conditions and design details need to be reviewed for that installation.

How do I choose between granite, marble and quartz?

Compare their appearance alongside your room, then consider intended use and product-specific care. Our material guide provides a starting point, and a project conversation can narrow the options.
